I'm trying out a variety of finishes on small areas of my stripped pine beams. Current road-test is of Briwax (clear because I an trying not to darken them too much). I see Briwax does a 'sanding sealer'. Would this improve the finish? Or would it make it easier to get a patina? (on it's own the wax just sinks in).
Sanding sealer necessary on beams?
