Why is the PL so different to real football? apart from obscene salaries?

If a guy bites you on a Sunday morning surely it's ok to punch his face in? what happened to Saurez?

Had the other player retaliated, he'd have been sent off. Although your right Suarez does need a punch in the face. Probably knock his teeth out, so at least he could only suck on another players arm.

Which is why he is practically above the law. The fact is that Liverpool are only not screwed by the fact that there are enough amoral scum-sucking other clubs out there that will happily take him off them for only a small fortune less than Liverpool want. Otherwise, Liverpool get 2 bob for him, and he ends up having to get another job, because no pro club will touch him.

None, they should keep him....work on his anger management. He's the best footballer in the country at the moment and omne of the best in the world.

Well this isn't the first time he's bitten an opponent. Last time he was banned for 7games, and that obviously wasn't a severe enough punishment to deter him from doing it again, so his ban should be AT LEAST 8 games. As Alan Hansen said last night, its made worse by the fact that it was completely unprovoked.

I'm sure Suarez wants to be playing European football each season, but if the FA do the right thing, he's just blown any chance Liverpool had of qualifying for European competition this year because it was going to be tough anyway, and he shouldn't play again for them this season now, and without him they don't stand a chance.
