Hi,
I'm looking to build up, converting single story extension with a flat roof to a two story with pitched roof. The existing structure totally gutted.
The end of the building which will become the gable end is on a public footpath
house - public footpath - public grass / tree area - public footpath - public road
I'd like to put scaffolding up against wall, but can i do that , and if so what are the rules ?
How narrow can the scaffolding be ?
How much space do I need to allow ?
Could i 'bride over the path with scaffolding base on public grass area to allow a 'tunnel access' ?
Failing all else , could gable wall be built from the inside ?
Thanks
