Sorry if this i an obvious one but does anyone know where I get a schedule of installation template from as I have to make one for an existing installation, cheers guys

It's the bit where you put circuit details, breaker and cable sizes etc...

i dont know if it was a double typo by the OP, but i am familiar with:-

Schedule of inspections and schedule of test results.

However, Schedule of installation is new to me.

It's official title is "Schedule of circuit details for the installation"

ah, but that is from the NIC, not the beautiful book, so in terms of BS7671, it is not the 'official' title and as many sparks will agree, the NIC are prone to inventing their own stuff for various reasons.

There is no reference to the title you mention in the book, or on the freely downloadable PDF's on the IET's website.

Those are just model forms.

The use of NICEIC certificates (or ECA for that matter), are still fully compliant with BS7671

yes, totally agree. However, i dispute what you say that the 'official' title is as you suggest.

The official title is found in the book.

Also, when you take 2391, it is very clearly stated that correct terminology/titles etc are to be used. If you answered the way you did in the exam, you will lose a few points.

BTW, when i started in this thread, it was a genuine question, not means to start an arguement, i'll leave that to..... 8)

Sorry, bit of confusion on my part with my choice of words.

I was meaning official title of the certificate the OP was trying to refer to, and not an official title as listed in the big red bumper fun book. :)

I think we are in agreement here.

Must be a first for this forum surely?

LOL, if only agreements were more common!

I think it would work wonders to reduce the blood pressure of certain individuals.

100% concur 8)
