Bearing in mind religion causes so many problems in the world, I think it is useful for our children to gain an understanding of what's behind it all. I think there's a big difference between studying different religions and being indoctrinated.

Being indoctrinated would be being told that one religion is the truth. Studying would be looking objectively and impartially at what different religions believe. I would really have enjoyed learning about religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism at school. Also, I believe it would be very helpful for children to learn about the common links between the Abrahamic faiths.
