what does that tell you about the number of particles in 18cm3 of water and 24 litres of steam

Thanks for your reply but as you can see there was a question and that question was for homework to tackled by my 12 year old daughter over the Xmas holidays. The answer she wrote down was: "That the number of particles in both is the same".
 
I tried holding my bathroom scales (upside down) over a boiling kettle, that doesn't seem to work !!!!! :eek: :LOL: :LOL:

Wish I'd had easy one-liner homework like this when I was 12. I would have written.... "It tells me that this was not covered in the classwork and my Dad tells me that our teacher cannot be doing their job properly and is just another example of what happens when you elect a labour government."
