Scrapping Human Rights

but in reality it is more that people are fed up with the lies and softly softly aproach of every politician from the main party's.
no

Farridge has been spewing endless inflammatory language and his billionaire media mates have been spreading it.................to numpties ike you who fall for it

We have two problems in the U.K.

1) the European Court of Human Rights needs better guidance, just like domestic courts are guided by the will of parliament via new laws.

2) the implementation of the ECHR in the U.K. via the human rights act was bonkers. Blair massively overreached and frankly a decent constitutional process should have stopped it.

We should solve 2. Hard for Starmer to be fixing Labour’s screw ups. But that is where we should start.

there's more than that, a lot more

Wonder what the LW Loonies will make of this, their hero Starmer is looking at scrapping human rights with regards ilegal immigrants. Funny I have been saying this for years. Hopefully people will now feel it easier to speak up against them without being labelled a racist. I wouldn't give ilegals the time of day let alone welcome them and extend any human rights towards them. Another example of Starmer copying Farage.
When you say ilegals (sic), who do you mean?

Its an influx but not a mass influx in the context of millions of east european migrants who were allowed to stay after brexhit. There are 8 million people of Irish descent here - shall we send them all back?
The Irish are much closer culturally to us than many of the other immigrants we have had recently, as are the most of the Eastern Europeans.

The 8 million of Irish descent have arrived over the last few hundred years or more, not at anything like the rate we’ve seen over the last decade.

Like many of the people saying we want our government to take a harder line on immigration, I don’t want to stop immigration. I just want to bring it down to manageable levels so that it doesn’t dilute and change our culture.

Here's a thought:

Nigel Farage said about Shamims Begum:

"At 15 a person is responsible for their actions"

It was the last govt that set rules allowing 1m net migration a year and putting asylum seekers in over 400 hotels.

I note that right wing supporters are all blaming this govt.

Why were there not hotel protests in 2023

A = because Farage wasn't stirring up trouble then

They got over 4 million votes and came third by number of votes in 2024. They will win the next election and the Labour and Conservative Parties will cease to exist.
Or they won't and the Tories will have sorted themselves out.

Likely result I see is a hung parliament.

But it's still years away

So Farage knew exactly what he doing when he told a Jewish person "Hitler was right"
He was like all of us, joking around in a day when it was quite normal to joke around. He didnt leave the country and join a terrorist group did he?
