Hi, I have a wet room, (made when i had a grant because of spinal problems) and in it the floor is safety flooring, like the kind Alto do but its grooved like an embossed pattern in it. Its not smooth which is my problem. I dont have the spinal problems anymore and want to put a shower tray and cubicle over the hole to the tank in the floor but the rest of the floor has this horrible flooring. I want to cover it with lino but as it has grooves in it, im wondering if i could somehow screed the floor to level out the grooves? For me to then put lino on top? If so, what kind of screed/leveller should i use?
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Would be better to have the safety floor lifted and the floor levelled/screened ready for the new flooring.
