SDSL Connection Issue

I have a customer with a SDSL connection & periodically the router will show that it has lost sync, even though there is still a connection & internet access. That said I cannot get a connection to hold over approx 100 hours which is awful considering they are paying hundreds of pounds a month for this connection.

Could anyone suggest whether this is likely to be a router, line or other problem, because as usual the ISP are reluctant to do anything.

Its more likely to be the router / equipment than the line - but not always the router / equipment at your end...

Send further info regarding your router and your supplier - I take it you have research the router model and applied any new firmware?
