Setting ridges and verges in winter

Battening out my roof slowly.... then tiling.... equally slowly. Got a feeling with the falling night time temps that I’ll be pointing my verges and setting my ridges when the temps are below the recommended 4 degrees at least at night.

What to do? Additive and cover up?

I thought it was 2°c and falling?

There are many days in winter when it's warmer than this anyway. There are only really a few bad days/ weeks in January or February.
