She made mistakes, i'd have sympathy if it was your child, even though it's law here and not over there.

Her parents are campaigning to ban texting at the wheel, when there is already a law against inattentive driving. Their daughter was already aware what she was doing was dangerous. Why not ban driving into tankers at 80mph?

I agree. People are always looking for someone else to blame. There is obviously only one person to blame here. Next there will be a call to ban jumping in front of a fast moving car.
A sad outcome though.

She died through her own stupidity, her choice.

What concerns me more is that idiots doing similar things kill innocent people.
