Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I'm putting up some new shelving, have drilled holes into the inside of an outside wall (if that makes sense!!) and one of the holes seems to be on cusp of the pointing and the brick. Firstly, my drill couldn't get enough purchase on the brick and has slipped so the hole is no longer at a right angle, and secondly, the pointing keeps collapsing around the rawplug when i attempt to insert the screw!!!
Is it just be a case of getting a thicker rawplug and sticking with the wonky hole, or should i be filling the hole in and starting from scratch?
Help!! I'm a bit of a novice by the way.... so answers in words of two syllables or less please...ha ha!!
Thanks.
