Should Boris be brought back as leader of the Conservative Party?

He was declared unfit to be leader not so long ago, but is this still the case?

He is still under investigation for misleading Parliament.
He is the only Prime Minister with a criminal conviction in office

Can't see Starmer wanting him back hardly laid a glove on him.
Rayner wouldn't be bothered, her ginger growler used to put him off his stroke.
I think you will find starmer pinned him down well and often.

and then Boris helped by tripping himself up.

but you always look at things a bit different.

There are many so brainwashed people about. A caller on the radio earlier said that Boris had steered us through the covid crisis.

Boris and his chums caused the bloody crisis!

Every British MP, of all parties, is responsible for the financial mess the country is now in. They should all be held personally liable.

I reckon King Charles should invoke his extraordinary powers and shut parliament down, it is doing nobody any good.

Why are they ALL responsible? The Tories have been in office for 12 years. The Tories imposed austerity. The Tories brought about Brexit. The Tories brought about a harmful hard Brexit. The Tories (in the form of Bojo) locked down too late for Covid, sent mixed messages, and generally buggered up the job of management of the crisis which may have cost at least 50k people's lives. The Tories supported Bojo to the hilt despite his laughable and illegal performance as a leader of this country. They then appointed an idiot as prime minister who, together with her idiot chancellor who did a pretty good job of wrecking the economy.

So in all this littany if failure, what did the politicians of the SNP, Plaid Cymru, Liberal-Democrats and Labour do to encourage and support an out of control Tory government?

Of course he should come back. He handed the Tories their biggest majority since Margaret Thatcher in 1987 and he's more than capable of doing it again.

The government is all 600+ MPs. None of the opposition parties opposed the covid spending - in fact all the other parties wanted more spending and longer lockdowns. As for austerity, Boris and Co spent more money than any government in Britain's history.
