Some people would be put off am sure adopting a 3 legged cat if it were to end in a shelter. So I say yes, if you've the time and the money go for it. Pets really can make a home a home, sorry to sound soft. Have you any other pets? You'll have to introduce them carefully if you have and see how they get on.

Very true. Both my brothers ended up with a cat moving in rather than then going out to get a cat
