Glad it didnt, those lights are £800 a piece at the top
Some of the street lights in our village have been changed to an LED which looks a bit like one of those rectangular flat security lights but it just faces downwards to the ground. It’s nowhere near as bright as the original ones, I mean it’s fairly bright if you are below it but from a distance it’s pretty dull.

Its been set to economy mode, they are too bright in full mode. We program them to be bright till midnight then we dim them to 50% to save on running costs to countys. Your county has probably asked for economy mode
I was feeling pretty proud with myself for fitting up an old fluorescent light in my garage today until I saw this thread….
