In either case all fixed equipment must have an isolation switch adjacent the equipment.

So if you have the former you need a pull switch within reach of the shower.

If the latter, you do not an isolation point within reach of the shower, but do need one at the pump location

Dunny I never mentioned maintenance.

You do seem to like adding words to the regs and to what people have said, and you are now changing your argument.

i) You should NOT have a pull switch within reach of a person using a shower.

ii)

Repairing or replacing are maintenace items, thats why local isolatos should be fitted

iii) I haven't added any words to the regs and I haven't added any words to whatanyone has said or at least not that I'm aware of !

You didn't answer my questions.

BTW what would you consider to be a suitable isolator for a light switch, or a shaver point ?
