Dear all,
I have just bought a house, with an extension in single brick, what I want to know us the best way to strengthen it/bring it up to current standard.
Knocking it down is not an option for various reasons, what I was thinking was:
Nibbling out some bricks and toothing in some piers THEN
Painting the walls with this luquide membraine type stuff, studding it out, insulating, boarding etc.
Would this be adiquite, if so at what interval should the piers be?
The extension is around 9mx3m
Thanks in advance
V
