Hi,

I am in the middle of moving a radiator and the location where I would like to put it has a joist in the way; so I thought I could fit the pipes into the wall (they would then be behind the joist) and have different valves (think I need different valves if I do that :?: :?: ). Can anyone tell me how to go about this? And what I need?

Many thanks.

Hope these help. The first shows the existing radiator valve which is fed from the bottom, the other shows the location the radiator pipes would need to feed straight through the joist - that's a no go - so the next way is to chisel the wall and run the pipe up and from behind, this would look better as well.

Many thanks.
