Skirting board. Above or below??

I'm going to be laying a stone floor in my kitchen/dining room. The stone is quite thick more so than normal tile. Should my skirting board be laid down first or could i lay the stonework right up to the walls and then lay the skirting on top. Oh, and there will be underfloor heating (electric) whether that make any difference

Skirting is normally laid on top of the floor.

you might want to live a couple of mm gap round the room and put the skirting on top, that way it should prevent cracks as it expands with heat.
