SL (Shower Light)

you connect a permanent live and neutral from the roomlight and the switched live is for the timer from the switched side of the room light
it's all in the referance section

BTW your spelling is atricious

Now, does it turn the timer on from when the switch is turned on or turn back off.
im guessing when its first turned on

It would have been better if it was hooked in with the Shower Switch
triple Pole (2 for the shower and one for the Timer link) then that would mean as soon as the Shower wa on the fan will start.

I can understand wanting a sensor for the humidity but why a timer
wouldn't it be better to start the fan as soon as you start the shower

------L-----------------------------------=========== SL/L
------N----------------------------------------------------- N

So putting the Live in to both L and SL
would mean as soon as you turn the Fan on its on
and as soon as its off its off

bypassing the Timer as well !!

cant grasp this can you

So putting the Live in to both L and SL

so the fan will run 24/7

So my drawing in ASCII is a bit naff
and i didn't think i would need to put in a switch to SHOW you
(guess its BLONDES DAY IN) there will be a  switch to turn it on and off

---L----/---------------============= SL/L
---N----------------------------------------

if i've got to talk to a BLONDE please let it be a pretty one

Do you know Kirchoff's Law, its just some thing i did at college
but im being to feel that his Law plies to lot more things

you asked as tho you had no light and wanted to know how to conect it

how to connect the rest of the FAN up
how to connect the FAN up

it needed the jumper between the L and the SL to work just the fan

I was shucked this project by my dad
it was a fan system for the Steamer for cooking Steamed Veg
so he brought a Shower Fan, as you can imagen you don't need a LIGHT for a Fan above a Steamer, so i wanted to bypass the light switch.

So i've not set it up so that you turn it on at the mains and it runs
turn it off at the mains and its off... personally i think its a bit of a Plank idea and he paid over the odds for the item.

and all i got of this site was a load of gobby replies
so when YOU Andrew started telling me information i was happy with
then you seemed to jump on the waggon
i guess it becomes a GANG thing, online that is
when one of ya "Mates" is under attack you flock in
but in real life ya just back off
MONKEYS

so its above a steamer for cooking veg? so much for the brothel...

and if you asked me this IRL, id stil tell you that you shouldnt be doing it due to your lack of ability to understand a wiring diagram
