I was hoping to replace the standard 2 gang/2 way switch that controls the upstairs landing light and downstairs hallway light with a Smart version. The connections on the new switch are different and fewer. Is it possible to use this switch or does it have to go back?

Thanks.

You don’t appear to have a neutral at the switch so using that product isn’t possible

And no the blues you have are not neutrals either

What do the instructions say?

Can the switch be used with another (two-way system) and without a Neutral.

Without neutral it comes with a capacitor to fit.

That may work, although good luck when it causes problems with LED lighting.

In terms of 2 way switching, that is done by having more than one of them, and configuring the switching options via whatever app it has.

I used a relay in the lamp, DSC_6061r.jpg the original two way switches still work, but now extra low voltage, the lamp Light with cat.jpg in my case has 5 GU10 bulbs, so I split it so centre is independent to outer bulbs, so the relay is two channel, but in hind sight I wonder if it would have been better with just smart bulbs?

The centre bulb is smart so can also change colour when using the single bulb. Anyway my kitten clearly likes it.
