I am assuming the Brown, Black and Grey are the new wires -

It looks right - assuming -

there is a Red in common at the other switch,
out of the top of the picture the Brown is connected to the Red of the RYB cable and
the red and black connected to the new switch are from the same cable.

The new intermediate switch is in the first of the two photos, right?

If you tell us how the switch that was in the position now occupied by the intermediate switch was wired when it was all working, then we can tell you how to connect it now. Otherwise we have to guess.

Here guys - minus my 3core black/brown/grey.

Sorry, I'd forgotten that there was an earlier photo of the wiring.
Hmmm....

Please confirm.

Please confirm.

Brown in common at the other switch. Since the new wiring is Brown. But connected to existing red on the intermediate switch by block.

And yes the red and black connected to the new intermediate are from the same existing wire

Existing wiring into existing 2way 1gang -
Common - red (no sleeve)
L1 - blue / black (red sleeve)
L2 - yellow (red sleeve) / red (no sleeve)

New intermediate -
As existing;
L1 - blue / black (red sleeve)
L1 - yellow (red sleeve) / red (no sleeve)
+
L2 - Black (new 3 core)
L2 - grey (new 3 core)
+
Existing red to brown (new 3 core)
Through block.

New 2gang 2way -
Common - brown (new 3core)
L1 - grey (new 3core)
L2 - black (new 3core)
