There appears to be a sound guy and a camera guy in the melee and the camera guy appears to keep his camera trained on the car up to and beyond impact.

Le Mans, probably known as the worst case for spectator death, then rallysport, but f1, a bit of rain, called off for 2 hours. Safest cars known to man.

Was a spectacular smash, amazed that the people peppered with the debris were not killed, and the driver was OK.
