I hope I don't upset anyone here, but we could do far far worse by not having another Maggie Thatcher. She tried dressing up in her Thatcher outfit the other day
Probably wears it in the bedroom.

Its like criminalisation of drugs. Make immigration illegal and you'll feed the criminal market. So presumably he thinks he's doing us a favour by working with the traffickers and illegals.
Personally, I think both Boris and Micron should wander off somewhere a few thousand miles away.
Illegal immigration is, by definition, illegal and the criminal market - traffickers - are certainly involved. Its like criminalisation of drugs. Make immigration illegal and you'll feed the criminal market.
Yeah, we can do far worse...the Liz Truss tribute act to Maggie is close to catching PM4(PM) and might be the contender to subdue Richy Rish!.I hope I don't upset anyone here, but we could do far far worse by not having another Maggie Thatcher.
But when there's no legal route, criminals will exploit the market. Napster, file sharing, drugs, anywhere there's a demand for something that can't be met through legal means, criminals make money.Illegal immigration is, by definition, illegal and the criminal market - traffickers - are certainly involved.
If you knew what she did with oil and privatisation money there is a fair chance that you wouldn't think that. There are other factors as well.I hope I don't upset anyone here, but we could do far far worse by not having another Maggie Thatcher.
One thing I think she did do correctly - jack up interest rates when the banks hit troubled water due to losses in other countries.
What a simplistic view. What do you think low rates have done to property prices. There is another factor as well. The returns on property investments. Money has been pouring into it for a long time, pension funds and investors. That makes it a very tricky area to fix and results in financial easing and low emergency base rates. The base rate is supposed to control inflation - there isn't much scope for that sort of use now. We currently also have problems that can not be controlled that way.It was certainly effective in driving young homeowners into poverty and homelessness by pushing mortgage rates beyond affordability.
but accurateWhat a simplistic view.
Is there no legal route for would be immigrants to apply for entry into Britain from their home country or even from a third country? But when there's no legal route
A few suffered. Is that better than most suffering now?what do you think happened in the Thatcher years to a young couple who had recently taken out a mortgage on their first home, ca
You very obviously do not know.what do you think happened
The cost of processing them figures where ever it's done also the difficulties due to a mix of what are some mix of conventions and laws that are recognised internationally.. I am not sure if they are actually laws. The state of the planet in a number of areas make it even more difficult. Is there no legal route for would be immigrants to apply for entry into Britain from their home country or even from a third country?
Many have done this in the past.
