It has occurred to me, of course, that Boris is happily inviting in illegal boat people in order to (eventually) provide cheap labour. This is the UK. Almost everyone is pro choice. Although the leadership candidates generally didn't care much either way. Most have abstained when there have been any votes.

The ERG core don't like her. That's been clear for some time. Why - pass. I'd suspect she is a bit mixed politically.

Truss - tax cut Truss. The thought of those helping the less monied parts of the polulation cope with inflation is a really bad joke. Previous corparation tax cuts tried for years did not cause compainies to flood in - that's why they put them up again. It's interesting to compare taxation levels across countries. She'll probably think she is Mrs T. She is in the right of the Tory party.

Sunak disturbs some as seen as a bit Tory left. That aspect kept Boris off the scene for a long time.

Voting will move around now it will be the final 2. All sorts might happen. Sunak's % is still rather low for a winner.
