So come on, pick Boris's successor.

Apparently, following the Covid outbreak many doctors decided to either take early retirement or leave the profession and many of those who remain decided to work part time. Why? I don't know.
None of that is wrong, but I am surprised that you don't know why.
Or indeed, why the Government weren't prepared for shortages of health staff in general

but I am surprised that you don't know why
It’s because they are better off taking retirement now rather than later

also because of recent tax changes

also because there’s a massive shortage of GPs and those left have to work under too much stress.

I'm surprised you wonder why the govt. wasn't prepared for shortages, or for a pandemic, or for anything else, for that matter.
Boris Johnson doesn't do details, and promoted people who are plainly incompetent to do them either.
The sooner this government is voted out, the better.

His idea to cut VAT on energy prices was a more savvy political move than you make it sound. Energy prices are going to be a huge issue this winter and people are already taking notice of changes to their bill.
I'm not sure it'll make much difference though. The people who cast votes in this game aren't so badly affected.
When prices increase and vat is applied they collect more so have the ability to reduce the vat level. Somewhat anyway but other vat rated sales may drop off as people have less spare money.

A Tory solution to staff shortage problems

That one is similar to changing contracts of employment. Think back to junior doctors demonstrating several years ago. Currently it sounds like we have more to come plus nurses this time over pay.

Some front line staff have left the NHS due to covid - they feel they have been taken advantage off.

Remember when everybody knew what was number one in the hit parade? The pop charts were important to many in those days. Now nobody cares, pop music has declined so drastically that the charts, although still compiled, are irrelevant. Today's politics are like that, still going on but with no relevance. It doesn't matter who becomes leader or which party is in office, nothing will change the country for better in the current two-party system.

And while the right-wing rags trumpet Lizz's loyalty to de Piffle they should be reminded of her photo op at the end of November last year - when he was still PM...

Politics is all about perception and so long as her team promotes the story of Sunak's 'betrayal' her claim to Downing St. appears iron clad - although the poll quoted in Inews at the time gave her a rating of 82% among Tory voters, while Rish! only polled 53%.

P Mordaunt supporting Truss. Will probably clinch it for the incompetent woman.

Did some of them rate both of them?
Same questions (note plural) to all involved.

Do you rate candidate 'A' good or bad?
Do you rate candidate 'B' good or bad?

Is it really that difficult to understand

Truss's latest brain failure is a beauty.

Cut pay for all public employees, until someone pointed out that cutting NHS, police and every other public employees pay outside London. When it became obvious that wouldn't be popular it got rolled back.

It's like Boris will have never left.

So the answer is 'yes' but why use one word when thirty plus an emoticon will do? Some people just like the sound of their own voice. You must be one of those as well as liking the look of your own words. Carry on if that what floats yer boat.

the Tories like to frame civil servants as the enemy…..apparently they are all remainers trying to thwart the will of the people.

this is the farcical level this govt has descended to…..But hey, they understand their audience.

The laughable thing is: many civil service posts are way below private sector pay, so the they continuously lose staff, then have to get in contract staff….and pay twice as much
