I don’t eat a lot of tinned tuna but, if I did try that, would my eggs etc taste of tuna?

Haha bacon with a hint of tuna isn't too bad imo but each to their own

Yeah stivino they does. Try it it won't kill you (y)

the trouble with tuna in oil is you increasing the fat content off the tuna so less healthy
even iff fully drained, the meat will absorb some oil

No.
But i also buy it in brine mostly, never liked the poly tuna

If I'm cooking the tuna, for pasta sauce or something, then I use the oil.

just checked john west tuna o.5 fat drained weight per 100g
-------------------tuna in oil 8g fat drained weight per 100g

How many people/servings do you get from a 145g can?

There are some people who use an oil spread, mayo, or even butter, in a tuna sandwich.

I don't and I'm not concerned about a bit of sunflower oil. "sunflower oil is high in unsaturated fats and low in saturated fat. Research shows that opting for sunflower oil rather than an oil high in saturated fat could lower LDL cholesterol and triglyceride levels."

It would be different if you were on a medically-prescribed low-fat diet, of course
