Soil stack boss

I bought a boss for the soil stack for a washing machine to drain.

But what is the part that fits inside the boss to convert it to 40mm waste pipe?

I cannot find it at B&Q anywhere.

You`re better off taking the part back for a refund - then go to a plumbers merchant and buy the complete setup - there are many different boss adapters

As Nige says, there's many types & you're best to take what you've bought back to B&Q. Get the soil pipe fitting manufacturers name from the system & go to a good Plumbers' Merchants that sells their products.
