Hi,
We fitted a solid bamboo floor (Floating on top of floorboards) just under 2 years ago, and so far it has been fine. I left a 10mm gap all round just to make sure (room is approx 22ft x 22 foot at largest and by 15ft at smallest - L shaped room).
Today it started to lift by the kitchen door
, and this afternoon it has lifted in the centre of the room (
on the longest length as you move out of the main L shape of the room). Theres no evidence of water getting in so wondered what I should do?
Is it just a case of sitting tight until the temperature drops, or should I be looking at taking off skirting boards and cutting down some of the boards very slightly?
Any advice you can provide would be appreciated.
many thanks.
