Solid wood floor lifting - help!!!

Hi,

We fitted a solid bamboo floor (Floating on top of floorboards) just under 2 years ago, and so far it has been fine. I left a 10mm gap all round just to make sure (room is approx 22ft x 22 foot at largest and by 15ft at smallest - L shaped room).

Today it started to lift by the kitchen door , and this afternoon it has lifted in the centre of the room ( on the longest length as you move out of the main L shape of the room). Theres no evidence of water getting in so wondered what I should do?

Is it just a case of sitting tight until the temperature drops, or should I be looking at taking off skirting boards and cutting down some of the boards very slightly?

Any advice you can provide would be appreciated.

Is there any way you can measure the air-humidity and the moist content of the wood. Not seeing water doesn't mean there isn't any and to the sound of it this is what happened.

I would investigate this further, there is obviously something seriously wrong as bamboo is one of the most stable floor coverings you can get.
I glued down bamboo flooring in my bathroom and kitchen over 4 years ago and neither have moved a millimeter
