It's a lot harder to poison people in their sleep or take out the whole side of a block of flats in one sudden event with electricity.

I've always been told there's much more deaths/ injuries caused by electricity.
Very rarely does gas cause an explosion.

you can get the seperate cover AFAIK just tell them you want the MCB cover as it is made hollow rather than the fuse cover which is solid.
