Special Character Buttons

Or a link below "View more Emoticons" to a "View Special Characters" pop-up, e.g. http://www.diynot.com/forums/posting.php?mode=specials ?

I guess the latter would be better, as more characters could be accommodated...

Yes, I think it could be a combination of the two if there were too many for the buttons.

Once you introduce graphics where do you stop? I was thinking about characters..

I think they are the most common ones I use in EUK, with the addition of the delta triangle (&#916 as mentioned by Spark123

Is it too much hassle to open character map? The entire greek alphabet is in there!!! As well as keyboard shortcuts for all characters. for example ² is Alt 0178 and ¿ is alt 0191
