Speeding error

It is on the A34 near me. The signage is all over the place. They have recently changed a long standing 40 stretch to 30.

There are no terminal signs where the speed limit changes, just repeaters, then further up the road you have a stretch where there are repeaters for 40 then suddenly repeaters for 50. Then there are small signs for 30 with a camera underneath. No terminal signs. The signage is all over the place, it's a total and utter mess.
below is the answer:
Technically, there is no way the signage complies with the regulations and anybody caught over the limit (whatever that is) would have a field day in court.
correct - The road defaults to an "other" road. NSL applies if the signage isn't compliant. Could still do you for dangerous/due care etc. if you drove like a t*t

Now look at every (multi angle) mirror and tell me the sizes of each.

Stick to your row boats
Do you think you'd pass your driving test if you failed to observe your blind spots?

It's up to you to set your mirrors up and adjust your observation to allow you to see into the space you intend to occupy.

What a serve.

But I think you've established you don't understand your mirrors

Interesting.
Many Schools have variable speed limits outside the premises apparently operated by lollipop ladies (30 mph down to 20 mph which is typically used at the start and end of the school day). Several times I’ve noticed the flashing ambers are on at one end of the controlled section of highway but off at the other end. It is odd that they are independently switchable as technically you can enter an area at 30 but leave on a 20 limit, or vice versa. Or is the defence that the two lanes are subject to different speed limits for the short period of time when this occurs? All enforced by averages.
I have noticed near me that a lot of these school speed reduction schemes have the flashing lights and sign at the start of the zone but absolutely nothing to tell you the zone has ended (TSRGD Sign P675 or a NSL sign) causing confusion.

Yes I have noticed that too. In my own area I know but when in an unknown area the only way I know the zone has ended is when a local driver is right up my backside.

According to the Google AI when exiting the temporary speed restriction zones there is supposed to either be a sign saying so (20 crossed out with 30 in) or a National Speed Limit sign that returns you to the speed for that type of road, if there is not one you are supposed to remain at the reduced level until you do get to a sign allowing you to increase your speed.

Usually way too late in most cases, also I often see the twin orange lights flashing at stupid times when kids are not going to be about, like 7pm/9pm etc.

Luckily some people always know exactly what speed limit zone they are in.

For us mere mortals you have to assume it's a lower limit unless it is clearly signed otherwise

I've never had a problem with "blind spots" when driving an 8M+ vehicle.

Whereas you don't have a clue.. but we establish that on a daily basis.
If you've never had an issue with a blind spot then you haven't much driving experience

I probably hold more licences than you, but happy to listen to your bs
