As you can see from the pictures below, the splashboard on the bottom of the door has a small gap. (The oak door was fitted by a professional carpenter 9 years ago). It is now leaking water.
I plan to fill the gap with exterior wood filler (non-shrink if it exists).
Then to cover the door in teak oil to protect against the weather.
Is this the best way of going about the job?
