Thank you gentlemen, the responses were illuminating. The shower booster already has a 1.0mm t&e cable to a ceiling pullswitch so completing the circuit to a separate fcu with a 3/5 amp fuse would be convenient. Also I can drop all cables down to a convenient built in hot water tank cupboard in an adjoining bedroom
