Ssssssshhhhhh, don't mention Reform.

Sir John Hayes making the point I made earlier:

"These figures reveal what most people suspected — the French are half-hearted about what we’re paying for them to do. Frankly, they’ve got enough people and resources to puncture every dinghy before it sets off. They should be doing all they can to stop these boats launching, not just standing around."

Yep, £476 million well spent ...

What a fecking joke.

Nothing prevents the necessary action to occur inside the state’s territorial waters.
yes it does

UNCLOS 19g applies

a British boat entering French waters to physically turn around migrant boats is not innocent passage

No, you try to bluff it out and apologise when you double down and are then caught.
I apologised straight away

oh dear Mottie looks awfully silly............but then Reform voters all look silly because they are brainwashed

What do I have to apologise for? Did I say they didn’t or did I ask a question? Unlike you, I didn’t lie and try to cover it with another lie. Have another look at my post.

I've just emailed Keir to advise I'm happy to disguise myself as a French border patrol guard and, if the UK Government can smuggle me across, I'll station myself on the French coast and stop more boats myself. I've asked for £1 million a year, 5 year contract.

I'll let you know what he says.

And we have no rights over theirs. We could pass a law to allow us to put soldiers on French beaches. I doubt it would work.
We don't need them.
By the time they got round to patrolling our patrols mid channel, or somewhere else, it would all be over, in another place..

I don't know what that means. We can't intercept them until they are in UK waters, by which time they are our responsibility.

If there was an easier way it would have been done by now given the criticism of different governments.

If you get it and need any help, I will put my military expertise at your services.

I would be happy retaining £500k per year, allocating the other £500k (to be split accordingly) to anyone happy to assist on a sub-contractor basis.

I got an out of office from Keir, he's currently planning another task force, so it could be Monday before I hear anything. Rayner asked if she could be of any assistance but I declined.

You’re just making it up.
