I don't collect many stamps, only the ones that haven't been stamped.

I'm taking that they don't stamp stamps no more and it's a bar code that is caned that shows they have been used.

Am I correct?

2. Also a term used by the Post Office, for a rectangle on the right hand side of a postage stamp, containing a pattern of random squiggles.

That’s a one-dimensional bar code (1D) Johnny boy. The bar codes on stamps are two-dimensional bar codes (2D) and they contain a lot more info. Not to be confused with QR codes. You're welcome.
