Starflow 50-85 ran out of oil now won't re-start

I have a HRM Starflo 50-85 boiler with Satronic TF830.3 and Danfoss controls.

I ran out of oil and now the boiler only runs for 10-15 seconds before it stops without firing up. I am pressing the button on the Satronic each time to get it going but no luck so far.

I have bled the air from the system... any ideas?

If you have bled the oil line and still no luck you need to bleed the oil pump, but be careful not to start unscrewing the wrong parts on the oil pump as you may make adjustments to the pressure.

could be you still have air in the pump. But it could also be you have drawn water from the bottom of the tank. Disconnect the flex oil line and draw off some oil. Reconnect bleed and try again.

Have you got a tiger loop fitted? Could be a blockage in there. Have come across this recently in my extremely limited oil experience.
