8) How do I get access to the reset button at the side of the control panel as the pilot light has gone out.

Baxi Solo does not have a standing pilot, it has an interupted pilot which automatically ignites each time the boiler is required, if the Boiler has "Locked-out", the reset procedure is to turn the boiler thermostat knob to Off and then back to the required temperature, the boiler should then attempt to fire up, however if a fault is present, it will lock out again, which will require investigation

The PF range doesnt have a perm. pilot. Thats all!

The balance flued Solos obviously have a pilot light. A bit more info on the model will help.
