starting adjacent wall

Hi all. If you cannot finish a wall with a full tile and say you finish it with a 1/4 of a tile, would you start the adjacent wall ( being it external or internal corner) with the remaining cut of the previous tile ( 3/4) or with a full tile? or would i have to start the adjacent wall from the middle hoping not to finish with a tile of different size of that of the adjacent wall? Hope that makes sense. Thanks for your time. If you have a link discussing all the option avaible regarding the above situation i would really appreciate it.Thank you for your time.

You shouldnt aim to end with a full tile as very few walls are plumb and you will be unable to do anything about it apart from cutting tiny slivers which look daft. Before starting dry lay out your tiles so you have a decent cut (ideally even either side) but at least over 30mm wide - this counts for top/bottom and sides.

And to answer your question, no dont try to continue with the cut as it will stop you laying out properly.

Hi tpt thanks for your time. Is it acceptable to end up, for example, with a cut of 30 mm. on one wall and a cut of for example of 50 mm on the adjacent wall joining the 30mm cut tile? Wouldn't it be better to stick a full tile next to the 30mm. tile? Thank you for your advice

ideally you'd end up with more than 30mm, but forgetting that for a mo, the reason you wouldnt want a full tile coming off it isnt for asthetic reasons is because unless that wall is exactly plumb (a rare event) all your tiling on the wall will be on the p**s
