Well, folks, we're still waiting for le bebe...

Admittedly the EDD is 21/11, but if firstborn is anything to go by, our third would have been born on Weds.

Got a birthing pool but the heater unit is kaput. Anyone know a decent replacement?

Firstly, it must be a girl - mine kept me waiting around like any self respecting female should!

Secondly, how did you break the birthing pool? adapting it as a home made tens machine???

You need an electrician!

On the positive side, don't foeti begin to lose weight after the due date? Certainly if I was a pregnant woman I would take any advantage I could get. I think the best simulation a man can have for childbirth is eating about 8 eggs and a few Immodium capsules. Give it a few days and I am sure it would be a fair approximation. Might even require an epidural.

Decided on the name yet?

With regards to the birthing pool, howsabout an immersion heater with a modified thermostat to allow it to be kept at 30-something degrees?

Reminds me of when my sister was a baby. A friend of my bro came round, would have been 7 years old, he came from a family where all children were boys. My mum was bathing my sister in one of those baby baths, the friend stood at the edge and said "That boy hasn't got a willy!!! Never mind, perhaps he'll grow one." (That one is definitely going in the speeches at her wedding!)

So, my answer to your question is, "Hope they grow a winkie".

Just in case she doesn't, I would start paying into a savings accound for the phone bills from 2017-2022 if I were you.

Well I've got 2 girls (13 and 10) + wifey of course. The main thing I first noticed was that I had to upgrade the hot water cylinder from a single 36 x 18 to TWO 48 x 18 linked together with motorised valves and all manner of stuff! Then we needed 3 bar pumps to the showers. Oh, and we now have two 50/70 cold water storage tanks linked in the loft with an Aylesbury valve supplying them!

We now use more water than Courage Brewery

Another thing, you will need another telephone line and no need for bathroom light switches, the lights are never off!

Oh, and the washing machine is now running 24/7 as the girls seem to change their 'outfits' about 17 times a day.

I could go on but I need a drink.......................

Beat the water usage ---- get them into short hair from day one !!! Not that my two have that, hence another resevoir is drained !!
No wonder it rains so much !!
Would they not love waterproof mobiles !!!

Think the baby has started to squat in the womb.. Not showing any signs of coming out....

Midwife says the EDD (having been estimated from a scan) may be out by anything up to 10 days!!

So, it could be December......

If it's born today, the six week deadline for registering the birth falls on Twelfth Night, so we'll call the baby Malvolio, then!
