I tape a 2d bar code with name+postcode on stuff, it can be very small and they are easily generated and often missed by thieves.

how do you do that? do you buy the barcodes online somewhere?

generate them and print (google QR code generator) then, cut them out and stick them on with helicopter tape (or even sellotape) but you can get vista print etc print on to labels

i put a label in a hidden place like the battery recess------

--------------then another where you wont find it by accident inside the casing
