I noticed that as well. Cameron said 'paying down the debt' when he really meant paying down the deficit. Coalition official prediction has always been that debt will continue to rise until 2015/2016 (I gather that is now revised to 2016/2017) and there's no secret about that. So he either just got his words mixed or he thought it sounded better or he thought people were too stupid to understand the difference between debt and deficit.

Well considering that most people think there have been large cuts to the deficit, when there haven't, he's probably right that most people also don't know the difference between debt and deficit.

Well you can't argue with those figures can you, between them the Cons & the Labs have stitched us up like a kipper AGAIN!! So lets kick Camoron out and get the idiot brother with the toffee apple stuck up his back side and the gobstopper in his mouth into the hot seat shall we....

Or we could try something different and vote UKIP!!!!

We are well aware of how the Lib Lab Con can muck us up, thats all we've had in the last 70 odd yrs or so, but hey if thats how you want to live for the rest of your natural go ahead and vote them in again, after all it's probably how your father voted, so yes you have been indocrinated and incapable of thinking for yourself...

Considering our true debt is £4trillion+ that graph is meaningless!

Whatever the debt- whatever the way we are heading--only people it affects are the workers.
The people who are 'sitting pretty' (not the workers) whichever party rules- dont really care .
Go figure !!

I sometimes think that Cameron and Osbourne dont even know what they are saying or doing anymore.

Osbourne said, We need to cut the deficit and the debt? You cant cut the debt unless you completely remove the deficit, and that wont happen for a long time.

Cameron said he wanted to reduce the national debt.....he worded it completely wrong

I was thinking of doing some trucking for Asda, they now have a "sole agency" Milestone, they obviously put in the cheapest quote and got the contract, however the drivers rate has dropped from £10ph to £9ph, i'm willing to bet they haven't taken a pay cut and as they are sole agency are getting even more dosh. bakstabards!!

Before you ask NO! i'm not prepared to take a pay cut when i'm working alongside fulltime drivers that are getting 2to3 quid an hr more than me.

He spent most of his time in the big house.

I have never borrowed nowt in my life because I got given a cheap council house paid for by others

Aww diddums.

Don't start.

Some folk go through life struggling with their lot but managing to work and be independent and pay their own way, but then suddenly and unexpectedly find themselves in a position where (through absolutely no fault of their own) they can no longer do that.

Then they have no alternative (bar rich relatives or a lottery win) other than to fall back on state aid.

I think you've now guessed I'm talking about me here.

Let me tell you a story.

I was born 3 months premature and as a result suffered what today they would call birth trauma. In those days it was called something else and, boy did the kids love to call me names!

While I was being born, I got stuck in the birth canal and the doctors could not get me out. Basically (grim though it was) the doc told my Ma that I would probably die anyway, so they would come back in the morning to get me out.

Well, I was still breathing in the morning, although Mum said I had turned black.

I was starved of oxygen and suffered Cerebral Palsy, causing a right sided hemi-paresis.

I spent 6 weeks in an oxygen tent and suffered all sorts of horrible diseases and conditions like pneumonia and hydrocephalus.

My right side is less developed, arm and leg weaker shorter etc. My right achilles was too short, meaning I could not put my heel down when walking. I had to have 2 very painful ops to correct that.

When I was 21, I had viral encephalitis, which is similar to meningitis.

It left me with no short-term memory.

Due to my developmental issues, I now have a worn-out left hip and knee: but not enough to operate, so I have to live with daily aches and pains.

I have mid - high frequency deafness in both ears. Over the last few years I have developed all sorts of other conditions.

My pituitary has gone haywire, meaning some of my hormone levels have dropped, while others have risen. I suffer Myasthenia Gravis, have double vision and extended ocular migraines.

In 2006, I went for a routine test that all but killed me. I suffered an anaphylactic reaction that required the immediate attention of a crash team of 13. Lucky for me.

My walking is getting more difficult now. I am still determined to carry on, but I have to accept my increasing limitations.

Because of my migraine problems, I have not been allowed to drive (and therefore work) since March.

Money is now very tight. Savings are gone. I now have to rely on state hand-outs. I am not a scrounger.

I have worked hard and pay my dues all of my life.

But, unfortunately, now is my hour of need.

Here's the rub though, Secure.

You have paid all your life. Your have gone through your savings. What do you get now? (rhetorical - don't answer that).

I bet it's a lot less than having never paid a penny, nor worked a day, but popped half-a-dozen bin lids out though.

I abuse the system why not, the invaders do. As do your MPs.

I bet you feel a little silly now securespark.

Some people have it hard, as yourself. But lot's are just lazy, most people will take the easy option if they can, rather than work and save.

There are whole estates of libby lou lou's in my area, people who could do better, but why bother when it's just handed to them.
