I had a rather strange call on my mobile, this morning. Phone rang, it showed a strange to me, mobile number on the screen, and expecting such a phone call I answered it. I then heard what sound like a rapidly speaking computer voice, asking me to add the number to my Facebook (I think), or maybe Facebook Messenger - I wasn't paying much attention, then it cut off. Is that a new scam?

I had something similar two days ago. I think the automated voice was telling me to contact "them" on Whatsapp to find a new job. The message seemed to last for less than 10 seconds.

I had something similar today. I blocked the number.

Your CV is getting traction, you can make $5k per day. - yeah had that text.

You have experienced scam no. 7,425,928 out of the 92,027,625 currently active known scams.

I don't get much on my mobile, however still get emails with some regularity that start off with something like 'Hello dear sir, I am Mandy from the high commissioners office in ...'

I tend not to read any further as it'll be yet another person saying they need to send me $5 million asap.

You had the one on YouTube which tells you if you do this you will get £1000 a week for life etc, etc? Getting reet hacked off with that one

This is me getting rid of scammers...

Somewhere in the world there's a guy sitting on pile of cash that he's been trying to give to random people for 10 years but nobody wanted it :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I used to love watching the scam busters on YouTube. who'd hack the cctv of the Indian call centre and then tell them he was watching them.

Now you have mentioned it, I think it did mention something about a job.
