Nowadays are on develop stage the SFCL proposed to be used instead reactors or high impedance transformer to limit current on internal industries distribution system.
I have studied some academic paper about it using semiconductor advantages or Shielded-core-saturable.
Please, could any of your let me know experience about the use of this system to be used as fault current limited and therefor reduce CB size, cable size and so on or your consider this devices are still in Lab or simulators process
