You can install a ceeform if it is not possible to locate it elsewhere, so long as it is more than 1.25m away from the pools edge (zone A), above 0.3m from the floor, fed via an RCD or safety isolating transformer outside zones ABC.

I remember the days as an aprentice......swimming under the water to release the light - 4 stainless steel screws - need a few breaths to do it - shame you cant take an electric drill/driver under 
These fittings are sealed, but rely on a trs gland at the back of the pot in the wall. The trs gland leads to a length of flexi conduit. Take the flexi conduit through wall and up higher that water level - dont cut it shorter!!
