Not the ones you swallow, the rectangular type, often with rounded corners.

Are there any out there in the sub £100 bracket that you think are worth buying?

Aspirins. I don't swallow them, I chew them.

Sorry, I'll get my coat.

Spenda little more on something like a Nexus 7 and you won't go far wrong. To many issues with the cheapo ones like lack of updates, slow processors, unresponsive screens etc to make them worthwhile in my book.

secure i went to town last week and popped into three store asking about ipad, chap that served me was 50 but after a chat about what i want it for (boiler manuals on the move in a size i can read) he suggested nexus. i looked at it online thought ill have 16 gb version £199 instead of 8gb one at £159.
i had home computer serviced last few days, didnt realisle home computer has 2gb and it contains everything and some so the 8gb is plenty.
im waiting untill xmas/new year untill the wifi version is out with summat called jellybean.
for me ipad too big to carry around, iphone is fast but too small to read so nexus fits the bill

not sure there are any tablets at any price i'd consider buying. what do you want it for?

Instead of two or three seperate gadgets I have my music and books on my tablet,my garmin packed up and I have found a free app to use as a gps.As you say it depends on what you want from it.

Thanks for that. But can't work that one out.... it says Android 4.0 ICS at the top then in the spec. it lists Linux as the OS.

but they're all incredibly poor at all of those functions. take photos buy a camera. listen to music... for got sake buy something decent... and a tablet is not one of those things, they are rubbish.
