Hi all im new and after some help.
Right then i want to convert my tandem garage into two so half can be a utility room, my main questions are will the flo0r need damproofing, it is currently solid concerete and the wall is single skin brick. any advice will be great

thanks all.

It does not need to be, if you using it as utility and no current damp problems.
If you intend to heat the room, this will then become an issue as far as heat loss, then insulation and a DPM would be advisable.

A utility conversion will be controlled work and require b/regs approval .... which will require a DPM to the floor amongst other things
