feeling up to date at the moment just done my telegan cert today ready for the change in regs i.e servicing and commissioning.

There must be a hell of a lot of total halfwits working in the industry then if you need special training to use a fundamental test instrument.

Is it because so many fitters were taking the mick ,not doing the energy efficiency. That is why they are making it compusary if you want to service or commission you have to do the telegan course.

can you say where the course was at and the cost? Was it beneficial and enjoyable, or just the same info given out by the corgi mag. articles and write ups. Bought the two corgi manuals and they were not exactly a good read

Like the time I did my WAU, TWENTY MINUTES and I had passed and it cost best part of three hundred knicker

Off to crewe on monday £170 all in. if the foods poor wont go there again. I hope it lasts longer than the half hour for MET1and LAU1 at a staggering cost.

They say its a day corse but it dont take long.
You Just have to write down what you would do ect if your readings are high on your telegan. i.e check air ports, pressues, range rate ect ect.
Then go do i few readings on dodgy rigged boilers in the test center .

I'm not intending to do this. £orgi can get stuffed, along with the rip off assessment centres.

I have no intention of doing it either. When I see start to see evidence that ACS is making any difference ie boilers are being installed by the regs. I may reconsider.
