Does anyone know if there is a list of telephone engineers available to contact to do some repairs to my faulty extention sockets or are we obliged to use BT engineers? Thank you.

get who ever you like, once its past the master socket its your problem

Yellow pages? Is that the kind of "list" that you mean?

I have contacted BT and they have checked my line and they claim that the line is OK. I ahve got two extention sockets in various rooms and they have suddenly decided to work when they feel like it.

Now thats more that a coincidence that they have both packed in at the same time isn't it?

BT claim that they will send someone out to look at it but if they find that the master socket is ok they will bill me for £64 callout fee. But both of my two extentions are wired from the master socket so whos responsibility is it, mine?

If it is my responsibility where can I look to get someone to repair it?

Thank You.
